Our Four Children

Our Four Children

While my life is well-rounded, filled with many obligations & responsibilities, my main job is to take care of my family. They are the source of many joys and lots of heartache. I attribute each and every one of my (colored-over) gray hairs to my children. And I wouldn’t trade one of those gray hairs for a mundane life.

God designed our family in a unique fashion. When Don and I married we each had a son. We quickly added another son and called our family finished. However, four years later God prompted us to adopt. One beautiful Easter morning we folded our daughter into our family just like God folds us into His.

Our oldest two have graduated from high school and have stepped into the world of adulthood. In the midst, I am struggling with when to let go and when to hold on.

It still amazes me how often the Lord uses these five human beings to show Himself to me.
